Club des Lecteurs is a no-cost book and social club for people who enjoy reading, conversation, and exploring the cultural life of New York.

We host monthly book club meetings alongside jazz nights, film and theater outings, opera and balletmuseum and gallery visits, and other cultural excursions across the city. In the winter, we often meet at Central Park and in the winter we conduct our meetings in cozy jazz clubs before the music starts. Our smaller groups offer a chance to go deeper into subjects such as philosophy, art history, architecture, and beyond.

The club is built around a simple idea: that reading is better when it leads to conversation, and that the best conversations often continue beyond the page.
